Default Car locked up. Help?

Hello. In need of some quick intel, so thought I'd give this a whirl. I have a 2012 Camaro. Drive the car home with no issues whatsoever. Left the keys in the ignition. Went inside for about an hour. Came back out to find both doors locked. Odd. Ok maybe I bumped the lock button on the door on my way out, but I don't think so. No biggie. HOWEVER, the extra key fob will not unlock it. The trunk button won't unlock the trunk. The key in the lock on the door won't manually unlock it either. We thought maybe the extra key fob needs a new battery, but shouldn't the key still unlock it manually? Any thoughts? Thanks!
