2015 Engine sputter- Tick- added ATF 2nd time
I wanted to revisit this topic. I have a 2015 Camaro LT with 50,000 miles. At stops while travelling it will sometimes give a noticeable sputter, burp etc. So because I also have a ticking and thought my lifter was clogged I added 1 quart of non synthetic ttansmission fluid to the crank case. But now the sputter has become way more of a thing. I've had ATF in there for about 500 miles. Maybe less. Maybe more. But the most recent time it happened it was more rough of a feeling. This does not happen on every stop and I feel no noticeable sputter when driving. I am going to remove the ATF soon. I did this once before and noticed a change in the sputter while the ATF was in there. I could not tell if it was better or worse but after 300 miles I did an oil change. This time it feels worse.

As mentioned before, your V6 does not have lifters so I'd be looking at other possibilities like injectors or a cam chain issue.
It could also be an exhaust leak that sounds like a tap noise but isn't.
I would stop using trans fluid in your oil and suggest you have a pro take a look/listen.
It could be something simple or it could be something that will cause engine damage if not corrected.
