Parked at store everything was good came out and car won’t say anything. I changed out the battery and still nothing. The car is making several clicking noises when I hit the alarm but unsure if it’s coming from starter or alarm. Also on dash the check engine light is flashing very fast. Any insight would be appreciated

Since the check engine light is flashing before you try to start it I would start with checking for codes. I hear a relay clicking that could indicate a bad battery cable, connection or a bad starter, But that should not cause the flashing check engine light.
Thank you. It’s crazy cause no issues and then bam. Just doing research it said possible relay or starter issue. I initially thought battery but I’ bought it new and have never changed starter or anything beside the battery in 13 years. It makes the clicking noise, like rapid gunfire, when I hit the alarm to open the doors or after I try to crank it, but not every time

What you are hearing is a relay over heat and click off then click back on. It can over heat because the relay itself is bad or because there is too much power trying to go through it. In the case of the start the solenoid is just a big relay that also engages the the overrunning clutch.
But none of that explains the check engine light blinking before you even try to start it. I would not be surprised if it just blinked while you where trying to start it. You could explain that away as a drop in voltage or ground caused by the extra draw.

I actually purchased a code reader and it threw U0100 which I then researched and found that could be the ECM controller fuse. Its a 15amp fuse # 5 that was blown. I replaced the fuse and the car started right up. Not sure if there are underlying issues but that is hopefully resolved. Thanks for your input and response.
