Default ut oh...

well today I got my headers put on, and as im going to put the oil dipstick back in, it scrapes up aginst the starter and sparks. The the car tried to turn on for like .5 seconds and the alarm went off. (I had my battery unhooked, but hooked it up right before this happened.) So after im done I tried to start the car and the alarm just keeps going off. The car doesnt do anything at all. Im so frustrated with it...

unhook the battery for 10 or so minutes see if it will reset anything. check all fuses. check and clean the wire ends at the battery and junction box. may have fried the fuseable link.

Is that an aftermarket alarm you have? Since your alarm keeps going off, you may have shorted out something with that, and now it's disabling your car.

Did all of those. We also took the car off the jack stands to see if that was setting the alarm off. Right now, Im just hopping the alarm has a 24hr lock out system. BTW it is an aftermarket alarm system that is giving me the trouble, I think.

Then from the battery, try to find the electrical hookup to the alarm (ones that don't look factory) and disconnect it.
