so that settles the top end but I still need to know a decent cam for the engine. I know dad is gonna want some decent mpgs but I know he also would like to get those back tires to chirp when he wants. is there a cam that can do the job?

I have a Comp 280 grind in my 350 that's in my 33 ford pickup. sounds good and the motor runs hard, but I have a little bit more work in the rest of the engine.
had a comp 286H in a 400 small block that was a good cam.

crane cams has a master list of all the factory grind cams. have to watch though since some are factory solid lifters.
