Default 4th Gen. SS SLP Options?

Hey all - this is a great forum; I guess it's time for my first post [sm=smiley4.gif]

I've noticed that 1998-2002 SS Camaros for sale usually have no mods at all, have a common array of SLP intake exhaust mods, or have been moded intensely for racing.

So, my question is when the 1998-2002 SS's were made/sold, were some sold from the factory or dealers with SLP options pre-installed? Because I see quite a few SS' with the same SLP mods...

Didn't all SS's go through the SLP factory?

Yep. All of 'em.

I think all of them got the slp lid, and some got exhaust, some got suspension, some got a combination of the two.

But, I don't have an ls1, so I wouldn't know! :P

All SS Camaros from 98+ were assembled in the GM factory with a temporary hood and spoiler. From there they were sent to SLP to get outfitted with the SLP options they were ordered with. All SS Camaros came with the appearance package which included the ram-air hood and the SLP spoiler. From here the cars got whatever different options they were ordered with. You can check all the factory options by contacting SLP with the VIN of the car in question.
