Ok...so i have a 95rustang gt. I wanna sell it for 4-5g's. I'll also have about two g's in my pocket. This will be at the end of next month. I figure thats a solid down payment, if i go with a loan. I want an 01 or 02 ss. Its gotta be six speed, ttops, leathered up all the options. the only thing i dont know, is if i should search and search for an ss with certain slp options. the only slp options i know of in the first place are the bilstein suspension and the slp exhuast. what other **** is possible to get on the ss' and what is worth its while...i mean what is actually worth putting the extra money out for just to buy the car, or would i be better off just upgrading that part myself..

i'm pretty sure most 02 ss camaros come with slp mostly on them. there are alot of after market slp goodies you can put on there later though and i think it's well worth the money! hope you go that direction man, gonna be kind of hard to find an 02 ss, pretty much everyone is holding on to them!

 

You can get things like floor mats and such, but like you said the main things are the SLP Lid, the cat back and the suspension. Personally I think the SS is kinda over-rated and if I had it to do over I would have just bought a regular Z and put the SS hood and wing on it and saved myself a few thousand. The SS's are no faster anyways and after all the mods I have done it really does not matter. There is a sweet looking red 02 SS at a dealer near me, if you are really serios I will stop and see what they want for it, but shipping from Chicago will probably kill you.

As far as I knowthe options were: Either Dual/Dual or center mount (more valuable) exhaust, slp air lid, bilstein/eibach suspension package, and Auburn rear end cover. (silver Aluminum, cooled rear end better and looked cool!!!)
