im going to paint my rims black. should i leave the lip the color it is? or should i just black the whole thing out?

 

Leave your rims alone, if you want black rims then buy them seperately, as you will lower your cars value imo.

 

this is just my opinion. i think all black rims (rims that are all black, not every black rim) are ugly, bacause they just blend in with the tiers so they look relly small. and when you look at them it just looks like someone lost there hubcaps and there just rideing on steelys, expecaly when the car is moveing. but i do like black rims when they have a lip. and evin tho people say you should just buy rims, painting those is worth the 7 dollers it will coust you untill you come up with a couple hundrid for real ones. thats my two cents.

 

yea.^^^^ i really dont have the cash for new rims. and plus i plan to sell this car soon and get an ss. im dying for a six speed. lol.

 

Even more of a reason to leave em for value. Most people will like stock parts over aftermarket wheels.

 

I'm gonna have to agree with Duffman. It would be best to leave your wheels alone, or to buy new ones. Who paints their wheels? If someone were to ask you something about your wheels do you really want to respond with "I spray painted them."
