um........ well for the front you could always paint them (black?) thats what i do.... and for the rear..... it has been done, you just got to run all the brake lines, and get all the hardware. what would be easy is to go to a junk yard and get the whole rear end out of a z28.... (posi andhigher gears too, 3.32 or 3.42 instead of 2.73 or 3.08 [:'(]) then just run the lines.

Find another 4th gen rear with Disc brakes and Limited Slip & 3:23 or 3:42 gear ratio and bolt it in.Nothing has to be changed on your car. These rears are cheap and should be in the range of $200/300. If you can do the work yourself, great.

You may of ment the same thing but it didn't come out very well in your post. "um...well" no drums in the front to paint.

haha. word. i was under the impression that you could buy a set of new brakes and everything you need aftermarket. but i'm digging the finding the rear end thing. i'll check around my local junkyards and stuff. thanks dudes.

you totally can buy everything you need in the aftermarket, but as you've said you have a "base" Camaro, you probably wouldn't want to spend the bucks to do that type of upgrade, and you would also have to pull your axles to change out your backing plates
