Hood pins
I just saw a video of a black 98-02 SS with hood pins, and it looked pretty cool. Does anyone else have hood pins, or would it be considered riced out if it has them?

They look pretty cool, and I guess you can get hood pins that are purely aesthetic. I'm considering those since they would go on a later 4th gen, and funtion wouldn't matter, but if I ever decide to take them off or if they fall off the adhesive backing would probably do a number on the paint.

I'm gona use them on my car,and I don't think ricers have them. it's more of a muscle car thing.

RE: Hood pins
There's lots of ricers that use hood pins .. Yet, they use the stock latch as well[:'(]

if you have a hood latch, I don't think you should use hood pins.
also from a quality standpoint if you are going to use them, I would get them stripped and rechromed because all of them out there are of CRAP quality and they pit and rust in no time.
another issue is once you cut the hood to put them in, the hood is junk and also if you don't have the hood painted correctly where you cut the holes, rust will form quickly
