I've been thinking of putting hood pins on my 82 camaro. If I have to put a new hood on it in case the 350 is too big for it. Should I get a steel or fiberglass cowl hood since it will be a daily driver. If I get hood pins for it could I take the hood latch and such off of it as well or not?

 

Your 350 shouldn't be too big as its the same exact external size as your 305. If you put a crazy tall intake on it, then it may be close. Look at my sig pic, thats a stroker motor with edelbrock victor Jr. with an 1806 on top...it fits just fine.
