my fiance ran a Cobalt SS in her very very stock 95 Z28 Auto and his front end was @ her quarter panel..a LS1 should stomp a hole in a Cobalt SS......but i do agree , i have to give GM credit for making a 205hp sport compart to compete with the imports. personally i think the Cobalt SS is a pretty damn good looking car as well, if i was in the market for a small car it would be a Cobalt SS or a 04-05 WRX.

 

Oh and one thing i learned about those cars, just because its and SS doesnt mean that its Supercharged so just add that factor in when thinking about racing one

 

it will say SSsupercharged on the badge or just SS. and the wing on the supercharged cars is bigger.
