this one got me.... its owned by a guy i worked with its a2001 GT took him out to my spot we lined em up and i gave the three honks. off the line i thought i was gonna get away with it. cosindering the 01s torque i though out of the whole would be my biggest problem but to my surpize i pulled him at least a legth and half off the line. then as we got into higher gear i could see my lead shrinking..... finnally as i hit about 67 mph he slowly pulled past me and finshed about 2 legths ahead

 

you went into high gear at 67 mph? which gear we talking about?

By 2001 they had worked out most of the kinks with the 4.6 2 valve and he has a good bit of horsepower and torque on you. Nice try at least you held him off for a bit probably gave him a bit of a surprise.

i think if i had all the mods that i have sitting in my house actually installed i would have got him but well see stan

and CBR ya like i said it wasnt a race i was expecting to win but he wouldnt believe me that in a 1/4 my camaro would hang in there with his GT (this spot we run is about a dead 1/4) if we had been running a 1/8 i might have got him....predictably his all on his high horse today at work about beating a V6 lol
