so i know this guy with a 97 mustang gt, its stock and hes convinced that he'll beat me in a race. hes got a whopping 215 horsepower while in my 01 SS i've got 325. i may have a bit of weight on him (200-250lbs) but i also have 110 horses on him. im pretty sure that i'll have the upper hand. can anyone think of a reason he thinks he can beat me???

Dude , before my stroker swap in my 95 lti and my tranny rebuild I smoked a 2002 mustang gt we ran an 1/8 mile and I beat this guy buy almost 5/10th with a mostly stock car everything but k/n and gears, I would take him up on it just to gloat all day

 

he would need a PI swap, a vortech and gears the he should be able to run
