Roll = Z28 by 10 Bus lengths.

There's all kinds of gt's of that model rollin around here who think they are hot stuff. Revin their engines, smokin tires... And to think I was kind of worried! wow.

There's a black gt rollin around: lowered, chrome wheels, xenon lights, tinted window, pretty loud v-8. Does it take a lot of work on a gt to get it to the ls1 level? Cause I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't have much done but maybe the catback exhaust to make it loud.

 

It would take full bolt-ons plus drag radials to probably run with an LS1 in the1/4th. (Given equal drivers.)

99-04 Gt's typically run mid-low 14's;05+ Gt's are the one's who run mid 13's usually.

You need to worry about the Mach 1's/ 01/03/04 Cobra's

A properly driven Mach 1/ 01 Cobra should run dead even with your LS1 till top end, where you will pull.

Mach 1's will typically see mid-low 13's in the 1/4th with a very rare 12.9.
03/04 Cobra's will usually see low 13's to mid/high 12's.. Usually an average of 12.9-13.0. (Where a great driver could hit a 12.6-7)
Your z28 will probably see low-mid 13's. If driven well.

Another piece of information...
Z28=SS=Firehawk=WS6

Neither is faster than the other.

A less than properly driver 03/04 cobra should run off and leave you.

So from a dig and a roll with an 05+ gt, it'd be about equal then?

Is there any noticeable appearance difference from an 01 cobra and an 03/04 cobra?

What about cobras before 01? Anything to worry about there?

I always thought the WS6 and SS were a little faster than the Z28, I guess I'm wrong
