I have a stock 98 3800 with an automatic trans my best time was a 15.9 with a R/T of .097 sadly i beat a civic that ran a 16.3 i dont know if its a good kill because it was so close. but on the other hand he had done a motor swap with bolt ons

Dont think so. He might have said it but most swaped civics even with a ls swap run mid 15s. My friend has a ls swaped crx running 14.8's on street tread. Its all stock except for the 1.8 none vtec and a cat back and cheap air filter. But thats a small car the eg and latter bodys are bigger but still pull mid to high 15s. 16.3s would have been around about number for a the 1.6l SOHC none vtec with basic mods.

Nice kill.I beat a civic that ran 19-22 seconds in the 1/4 mile.He said he had a swap in but idk.

LOL. It seams like every honda guy has a swap or so they say. LOL most dont or they have swaped the d1595hpnone vtec to a d16 100hp none vtec. The d16 vtec only makes about 120hp stock at puts in about 95-105whp. there is also the zc 1.6 none vtec dohc 130hp, the B16a 160hp, b18c1 or ls 140hp, B18c3 180hp, B18c5 american 195hp, the B18c5 j spec 205hp, the H22 around 210, and thefeared K20 217hp. As you can see there is a big chang from 95-217 base hp also tranys heads and every thing else. Striped K20 crx on slicks can run a high 13s same car with a d15 high 16s. Same car diffrent engine no mods.

lol i know the kid the motor he had in it was a 1.6 no vtak and he blew the motor but he put a 1.5 vtak motor in it besides the point im dissapointed in my 16 flat once im done school im gonna get either an SS or a ws6
