Ok, I raced this kid. Lost as expected. Went out to a backroad where this random light is and waited until it was red then pulled up to it real fast. Turned green, I got a quick jump onhim and that was all I got. He caught up and past me kinda easy. Oh well. I'd rather have my car than that thing.

0-60: 5.4
0-100: 13.6
0-130: 29.0
1/4 mile: 14.0 @ 101
5-60 (street start): 6.0
top speed: 151 (drag lmt)
but that is a brand new Mazdaspeed 3 and its the GT versign. They arnt slow either, out of a comparison with the WRX TR, VW GTI, Mini Cooper S & Nissan Sentra SE-R Car & Driver gave it first place. I dont know anything about the other mazda 3s & dont have stats on the different models or years either.

yeah, I saw this article, and another one on it a few months ago. I looked at that thing, and thought "how the heck is that thing so fast?" It doesn't even look like ya know, a sports car. More like a supped up crossover gone wrong. But I'd still rather have a camaro.

yeah, and you can always use bolt ons, or swap in a more powerful engine if power is your main goal for the car. For now, I'm not too worried, I know that I shouldn't take any v8 sports cars, and only a few older v6s. I know I'm toast against a normal 350.
