the SRT4 runs 14.2 bone stock. and yes that is faster than most of the V8 cars built with exception of the later model V8 sports cars...the Mazdaspeed 3 is a really quick front driver. i have heard times from 13.9 to 14.3 stock. if optioned right and running a 13.9 you would kill ALOT of stock V8 cars......

 

I hope someone wasn't saying I don't know what I am talking about. I do know what I am talking about my brother has a 05 SRT4 and has raced a lot of V8's from trucks to non supercharged Cobra's and have beat them all. He has only lost to a built out the @$$ formula firebird with 4.11 gears and lost only by a car at that. And I am correct about the Mazda Speed 3's I looked at buying one and did research stock for stock they do beat an SRT4. And by the way I drive a 4th gen LS1 not a 3rd gen.

 

You'll lose man for sure. these cars run a 5.4 0-60. Mazda claims a top speed of over 150. 263hp turbo charged 2.3 liter pushing 280 ft-lb torque with a 6 speed manual. Im not tryin to dis camaro's, i have one and love it. But this car would smoke you.

yeah i pretty much agree.lol but y not just race him so we can find out cuz all these imports numbers and names and letters confuse me so just race the damn thing and see what happens.the worst that can happen is you lose to a car that prolly cost @ least twice as much as urs.big whoop!!!!

 

Yeah either way I paid like 8 and he paid 28. Plus I personally think those cars are ugly. 4door hatchback and all.

Yes, they are quicker than I thought, fast for a 4 door hatchback, thats for sure.

Sad to say, a 2000 v-6 would get picked apart by this mazda, but your LS1 bigger brother wouldn't have a problem with it at all.
