Well i went to the midnight drags at the local track last night and boy did i run into a treat. first off it was completely crammed being the first night of the year. The runs are supposed to start at 11, but the first passes were finally made around 12. They had a new crew apparently because they had a kid laying down water for every car and it covers the entire staging area, so nonetheless nobody had traction the entire night. In my first run I had my tack up to 60 in the first 20 feet. Then to top it off someone blew their engine in the lines and had oil go all of the line up lanes. My fastest pass ended up being a 14.7. What a great night...

 

thats beat. so the kid puttin water in the box messed it up or the track just sucked? i feel lik you should burn that water off

 

well everytime we have went to this track in the last 5 years, seems like they have an inexperienced crew. I mean how many honda civics out there need to wet their street tires for a burn out? That was the dumbest part everyone is on street tires so we everyone just carried water down the track.

 

yea. well tractions not to good at any track on a street night even wen the cars go around the water box. it sucks but if your not racin on lik saturday and sunday in the index classes or at events tractions goin to be hard to find.

 

weve got a track near here like that too. its also got a slick spot in the far lane that they never fix. its scary as hell watching the bikes go down, they ALL get squirrel-y around the 3rd light pole
