LS1 GTO's run about the same time as stock 3 valve 2005 and up GT mustangs the GTO is a hair faster but is on the fat boy project. The LS2 GTO on the other hand is a low 13 second car and runs around the same times as a LS1 F-body. I dont think a LT1 has a chanceunless your packing heads and cam work with good gears and ruber then it may be more of a race.

Stock 3 valve GTs run any where from 13.7-14.1 with normal drivers.

 

i agree with what shaker said! i have a 04 gto and i have raced many new edge stang gt's, from a roll and dig. haven't been beat once. my friend has a 04 with a procharger and some more mods, i am stock, we ran from 80 to 150 where at around 90 i started pulling on him and at or around 150 his little 4.6 let go two rods thru the block. he told me that there was no way he could keep up with just a dsc1 procharger. and as far as the camero it needs to be a late model ls1 and the ss model, isn't no way i can hang with them stock. lt1's are easy even with 410 gears and a 6 sp. now i know this is my first post on here but i do know alot about the gto and other cars. so i hope no one takes this in a bad way. just my knowledge to pass on. i have been raceing since the early seventy's. thanks and it's great to be on here!!!

 

odd, because i have seen P1sc cars go 11's and that will smoke the crap out of u and even most of the people here. the SS model has NOTHING over the Z28 model in the area of performance, so ur friend was wrong with what he said
