I got a guy at my work that want to race me and he has a new MazdaSpeed3. I'm like 99% sure I'll lose. Just wondering If I'm right.
I just have an 2000 V6.

 

do you mean a mazda 3 if you do...your 99% wrong those things are sloooow

 

The Mazdaspeed is faster than the regular 3, it may be close, but I've never really heard anything about them...

 

The only numbers i have are numberd for the new mazdaspeed 3 GT. From Car & driver in may of 07.

0-60: 5.4
0-100: 13.6
0-130: 29.0
1/4 mile: 14.0 @ 101
5-60 (street start): 6.0
top speed: 151 (drag lmt)

but that is a brand new Mazdaspeed 3 and its the GT versign. They arnt slow either, out of a comparison with the WRX TR, VW GTI, Mini Cooper S & Nissan Sentra SE-R Car & Driver gave it first place. I dont know anything about the other mazda 3s & dont have stats on the different models or years either.

 

All I know is that they come with 263hp 2.3 4 cylender stock.

They don't come with stock turbo, but I could be wrong.

Ok if this is a Mazda Speed 3 you WILL lose they are the fastest front wheel drive car ever made. Faster than a Stock SRT4 and those rape most V8's If you think I'm wrong go ahead and race you will see his taillights.
