Unless he has a hell of a car you should kill him. You hear crap like this all the time i had a guy in a srt-4 telling me he could kill ls1's when i asked him what he is running in the 1/4 he said 14.6, stock ls1 runs low 13s
.To take a LT1 he would need a good swap. K20, H22, B18C5 all cost over 5 grand and would have to be fully bolted to even stand a chance. If its a SOHC D series engine you could kill him even with turbo it would come off the line around 160-180 HP tops. B16 fully bolted around (intake, Headers, exhaust, piggy back, etc.150WHP. Hell even with a K20 with mods in aEG6 its still only a low 14 second car and your talking about about a civic that has 9 grand in the engine and parts. Race him and end this the guy is probaly a true ricer.

Sorry guys. Look nothing would put a bigger smile on my face than to shut this young buck the #$%@ up! He lives on one side of town and I live on the opposite side so the chances of me seeing him on my streets are real slim and the only time I see him is when he comes down to my work to visit his moms!! I will make it soon and let you guys know about the kill.

Its ok you would win. Unless the kid has big time money in this thing its not even a race. Not to say its not possible for a civic to be fast but i dont think this is one of the 1 on a 1000 that is. Even if he had a built k20 or added a turbo to a LS (B18C1) swap it still would be running the same times as a near stock LT1 and thats if the guy can drive. If not he's just going to spin his *** off and run 15s or even 16s in a 14 second car its happend before. But any way this is probaly not the case. I love any thing with a engine. But i hate guys that trash them and turn good cars into **** and think they are from F and F and talk like they are big and bad. This sounds like some kid that grew up in the F and F big wing and 4 inch exhaust age.

but then again, rule of thumb is their cars usually run about 1.5-2 seconds slower than they say they do. IF he has a new motor in there with all the trimmings u could be screwed. but i doubt it. if he just did all his work to the motor that came in there, which is an SOHC pos then hes still turning 15seconds on a good day with that station wagon hatch of his catching a tail wind.
