So I am driving around town with my girlfriend and come to a stop light, a red civic Si pulls up next to us revving his car, had one of those fart cans. My girl looks over at me and asked if I could take him, right as I say yes the light turns green he takes off. Shes says well do it, and I mash into it and go flying by him. I thought those things were suppose to be fast......

There can be some fast civics, but from the factory there's no such thing. There speed is only relative to other civics...

Hell no there not fast they only have like 190hp and run the quater "with a profesional driver" like high 14's, so no there not fast, but nice kill even if it was a little ricer.

 

the new ones are like 250, but still only a mid 14... yet a cobalt SS or redline will run a mid 14 with 200HP, and with a upgraded pulley and traction/LSD, break into 13s

 

I've seen a Civic run a 12.5 at 5280 ft (highest elevation track in the NHRA), so at sea level that's around an 11.5, which would take most of our cars, so I don't want to hear that Civic and being fast is an oxymoron. A stock civic yes, but they can be quite quick.

 

nah i dissagree with there is no such thing as a fast civic nor will there ever be no matter how much money they have in there piece of crap ricer.
