We seriously all need to keep a bottle of De-Ricer in our gloveboxes to have it handy to spray at ricers out of the rolled down window after we beat them.

I guess I don't understand. A "tuner" can be a guy with a 7-liter C5R 'vette with a $75K engine like I was until I recently when I sold my '02 ZO6 to get cash for the next project : tuners arenot just some squirm in a riced out Civic -- overall, I think they are guys who love cars and mods, whether 2-liter and 13 seconds, or 7-liter and 9 seconds in the quarter. It seems to me that anyone who cares about cars and is willing to work hard on performance is a winner. Call them a tuner, call them what you will. Am I missing something?

Actually Lee Willis, your completely right. I consider Tuners to be fine, and I classify them to love their cars, car about what they do, and have respectable rides. Nobody can really bag on that. But Ricersare what we're mainly talking about. Poser in their Civics, the whole deal there. I put the thread in as Tuners to be a little more proffesional. But you know what I mean. And JD, your right as well. A TL isn't really slow (At least for my 85, let alone somebody elses LS1) But my car does have Intake, full Vortec exhaust, Electric fans, and a low grade performance ignition system and some other little stuff. Not quite stock, but far from really modified. I was also a better driver than this guy. I mean most of us here have been around these things since we first set eyes on them. You'd think we would know what we're doing I'll always respect a faster car, or somebody simply finding out how fast I am, no matter what the outcome. The driver is a different story sometimes. And that's half the matter.

I dunno... the ricers with the N/A motors never screw with me. Its always the clown with the turbo civic hatchback. Problem is, the compressor housing onHIS turbo is the size of one of those chocloate mint girl scout cookies, and his intercooler cools about as well as a russian refrigerator, so I destroy em anyway.... or they destroy themselvs cause theyre not meant to be boosted in the first place.
