Down here, in Miami, its not like we don't have enough of them. We have a LOT. In fact if you are out in the streets you'd be almost certain to see at least onericer at ANY moment. The problem is - they never race me! And they do talk a lot of ****. I know people with riced up cars both at work and school and they both say how they love imports because with a few boltons they can "beat my huge camaro". But when it comes to prove it there are always excuses. Besides I don't understand the logic: why would you buy a car that REQUIRES modding to be fast in the first place? Just buy a Camaro - they aren't expensive. If you want to do some work on a car to have a more customized ride- buy an older Camaro and make it a project car. But then on the other hamdI'm also glad that they keep buying those ****s. Leaves me more cars to beat, and more people to embarrass.

That's really true. Alot of them will run their mouths instead of their motors. And how they always say they can just stick on some bolt on parts and make it fast. No. Maybe fast in comparison to another stock Civic. Let alone though, if we put on an exhaust or something. Full exhaust on a Civic will add like 10 HP. Full exhaust on a 350 Camaro will add like 25HP or something. But it's still always fun to put them in their place

That's awesome! Almost as fun to carry in the car as an air horn!

around here, socal, it seems that every ricer that challenges me is driving those crappy scoin Tc's. for some reason, they think their little 150hp 4bangers are faster than hell. i guess they are surprised when im 10 cars ahead after 3rd gear.

Not many Scions in CT, but there's mostly just Civics, and CRX's and Accords. And the occasional 3.2 TL or something. I just don't understand how they always seem to think that their junk is fast, or that they might actually win.

You do know that the the TL might just jive you a good run right? Is your car stock? Because remember that a stock TPI 5.7 is at best a low 15 second, maybe high 14 second car.
