My friend put down 220hp and 400tq at the dyno...

He is on the school's drag racing club and they est. a 15.79

96 stock time is 15.8, he has no traction, it might be a close one, but the tq is giving him a big advantage

 

220 hp out of a 455? he needs a new cam, and maybe heads.

 

He needs to get some 69 455 parts for sure

haha this is great, I've taken so much **** over the last year for thinking my V6 was almost if not quicker than the cutty...It will be a drivers race I believe

 

If he is lucky the heads will be almost the same,they only have a few different heads, so he should at least be able to get some out of just a cam. I just cant see the point of a big block when you get V6 power out of it.

 

My V6 is just that powerful...jkjk

But yea, thats why I sold it...9mpg and not worth the moderate at best performance
