Well it is a big block, and if he plays with the motor just a little it should be fast. You may get him from 0 to 60 but he should catch you fast.

I owned the cutty b4 he did...i think it will be close

That 455 has lots of potential, unfortuantely he decided to choke it with that edelbrock carb, and the intake makes it run worse...no doubt it would be a sick car w/ some cam/head/exhaust work...but I guess he's all about popin name brand stuff on it and expecting that to help

no...75 will work fine...i'd need to upgrade if I wanted 100+...but 75 will work (I'd probably just go 50 most the time)

haha...yea I'm very excited. Sadly, we decided on May 13th to hit up a test and tune (might change our minds and go in April tho )

It's funny, I've posted this on a bunch of different forums, getting many different responses...

I also tried talking my friend into switching back to the qjet...instead of that small carb (not really helping my odds tho)

I'm hoping to have nitrous by may, I'd think I'd def win w/ a 75 shot...

Yeah, but if he put on a 750 carb and had the car tuned by someone who knows Old's then you may be screwed. I had a buddy with a slow 455,he had it tuned up the way an olds needs it and it was just sick, those olds motors love alot of gas, timing and headers.

no i totally agree w/ a little work, that car would have been sick, and he could whoop on my 6er...I still wouldn't want it back tho...I'd rather have my camaro no matter what happens...

the funny thing is 75% of people look at my car and assume its it would waste jesse's 'beater'...it's just the 25% who kno what their talking about that doubt me (the 25% i'm hoping to prove wrong)

haha yea...that'd work too

but yea...since its not til may, I have some time to get some more work in to my car, I'm gettin a mail in tune, zzp pulley, hopefully some wide 15' rears, shocks, and then the N20...hopefully he doesn't do any work to that 455 tho He has an LSD he's putting in it next summer (after the race thankfully)

and were going to be videotaping it...so i will def post the results
