Default 3000 gto vs. skyline

Well you know how I was talkin about me and my buddy lookin at a skyline.. well one of my buddies is seriously thinking of gettin one. So he takes it out for a test drive. On his way he happens across a 3000 gto or fto.. i forget what he said. Anyways its above gt apparently.. bottom line.. they race he got smoked.

Is the skyline worse than the gto or does he just suck? (Almost stock for stock, skyline had exhaust, 3000 had exhaust and blow off value

when my pal had a gts-t 2.5 turbo skyline (1996) we killed a 3000 gto, depends how you drive, but his skyline was putting out about 280 not 240bhp

Was it single or twin turbo skyline? Those twins actually make upwards of 320+ they were just underrated. And are you sure it was a twin turbo gto? or a non turbo sl?

TT3000gt's are pretty fast, they have good low end grunt too, but its prolly the driver to, practice launching and shifting and it should be a close race

Those 3000GT VR4's are pretty nice, all wheel drive and I believe they had 4 wheel steering too. I had a 92 Stealth tt about 5 years ago and they were basically the same car. 3000gt and those skyline are pretty damn close as it is though, both are pretty cool cars.
