Default my 99 Z28 vs Skyline GTS

pretty pleased with my motor,

my close friend has 96 skyline gts r33, with 3" stainless downpipe, de-cat, hks de-cat back 4" exhaust and box and HKS induction kit. i have 99 z28 UK spec , straight through cat back exhaust, slp coldair lid and throttle body by-pass.

from 30mph rolling start upto a speed not to mention he is half a car behind, and as soon as im at 4000 in overdrive im pulling away.

what ya all recon ??

If it is the GTS, it's not exactly the fastest Skyline. It's not the turbo. The GTR is the turbo though. I'm sure it was a fun race anyway.

It's not the turbo.
untrue, the GTS would be the RB25DET RWD VS the GTR RB26DETT AWD.

A straight up GTS is not a turbo car. There are variations that are though. For example the GTS-T.

sorry guys but it is the GTS-T , ie the single turbo skyline RB25DET engine, we just refer to it as GTS as no one in their right mind would buy a non turbo??
also i would be gutted if my ~300Hp camaro had a ~120hp is next to me lol!!

i think he is running close to 280hp on his GTS-T and its lighter, thats why i was proud of the maro!!

Well, good to hear. I was wondering why you were bragging about spanking a plain GTS.

The R33 GTS is turbo. It sports the RB25 single turbo and is not AWD.
