carguy that doesnt sound right either. there are a ffew STi guys around my town which are modded to about the extent of this guy. they are quick and could take out a stock vette, however it does sound goofy to pull on a highway roll when the vette has full boltons. he probably beat the driver in this case, still no shame in that

I think I could beat a stock 03 Cobra, b/c the guy with the C5 vette with bolt ons I raced said he beat a stock 02 C5 Z06 in his Vette. And he now owns a cobra, and he said a stock 03 cobra is a very good race with a C5 Z06, so I think that means I can beat a cobra. But regardless, I think I do so well is b/c I know my car too well and it's optimal shift points and the opposition just doesn't drive too well then.

The 03 cobra stock ran 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, and the 1/4 in 13.4 @ 110 or so... my then stock c5 with my exhaust and PCM, was 0-60 in 4.0 flat and a 1/4 of 12.65 @119.. So its " close" but in a race, half second is a looooonnnng time... So can you beat a Cobra? Yeah, probably, ( one pulley swap will change that lol ) but ill run ya now with my Vette

The car is probably capable of hitting 11's. Others have done it with the mods that I have and they've gotten the times down to 11.7's on the stock turbo. But it is an extremely rare case.

Hey guys,
I was crusing with a GTO, SRT4, and a couple of Z28's last night. And one came next to me and instigated a race.
I talked to him earlier that night and he had an intake, full exhaust, and some headers, but he was not tuned yet for his mods.
The Runs: 1st Run: we went from a 30mph punch to 100mph and I put 2 cars on him.
2nd Run: we went from 60mph to 120mph and I put 1 to 1 and half cars on him.
After that we called it a day and went our seperate ways. Then later on that night I put race gas in my car. I was also tuned for race gas by the way. A friend of mine in his tuned vette called me to see if I wanted to run.
Next Competitor was a 99 C5 Vette 6 Spd with intake, headers, exhaust and some other misc. stuff, but he was tuned for his mods. We went at it twice from a 60mph roll and I pulled him by half a car all the way to 125mph. He was slowly creeping up, but I let off b/c cops were on the other end of the freeway.

Trust me I'm surprised I beat the C5 Vette, but I promise you the results are as I mentioned above. We went at it 3 different times and all of them I was ahead by half a car. I brake boosted everytime, and got the jump on him which lead to me being ahead from the outcome.
i raced one of you b4 and the guy told me they called ur kind "Camaro killers" then he said we also call em "Vette killers too" lol i laughed then smoked him 4 times 10 mins later

Well, like I said I don't expect for my story to be believed in a forum that loves F bodies and vettes, and etc... but I'm telling you how it is. My car is fully capable of beating a lightly modded Z28, Camaro SS, Corvette C5, Porsche Carrera's, GTO's, SRT4's, and so on... but the difference is that not everyone is great at driving their cars. You can't expect everyone that I race to be a perfect driver. Anything can happen on the streets and so far from what I've raced I've done pretty well. My car after all has 400hp to the flywheel and 450 lb ft of torque on my race gas tune. That is definitely enough HP to keep up or beat a couple of the cars I mentioned.
