Today on my way home from work. Older guy in a C5 vette behind me. I'm revving it at stop signs and peeling off a little. Turns into 2 lanes and he guns it past me. I do the same and try to keep up but he left me like I was standing still. He smoked the tires when he shifted past me and I'm pretty sure I heard a blow-off valve, but it was hard to hear over the exhaust. I have a stock 5.0 TBI 5 speed haha. I didn't stand a chance but it was fun.

 

lol... i would do that same... i tried that once with a c5, it was just two odler guys out cruising... probably looking for some nice 19 yr. old *****... but he squealed em a lil and i did too.. but nothing came of it

 

My dad and I almost raced when he still had his "slow" LS1 vette(I don't stand a freakin' chance against the LS6), but then we stopped because both cars are...erm..."slightly" loud and we were right next to a police station...decided the racing was a bad idea.

 

I stomp on the c5 corvettes. I leave the light so hard with 373 and 315-35-17 drag radials. My lt1 puts the vette owners to shame. I have beaten a few zo6's but its alot closer and they get me on thetop end if we go faster than like 120

 

Do you have any timeslips to back up your claims?

 

my sister just got a C5.she bought it and gave me a ride but shes to scared to push it.its a shame she doesnt know what type of car she has...hse only knows the name.lol but i want to race her one day but i dont think she ever will or if she does ill win cuz she'll be afraid so it wont be a fair chance

 

I hae time slips but i havnt put them up. My first time at the track i went 12.9 at 109 with a 1.9 60ft. That was all motor and i spun thru 1st. Im learning my car and how it reacts so i should be mid 12s befor i spray it
