New old project-1946 Austin gasser
A little grinding with the die grinder to open up the breather holes to round for the grommets, and open up the PCV hole to accept the larger grommet, and the valve covers were good to go! Not but about 1/2" clearance to the intake, but that's plenty for me!
This is their store link. But they don't have any new or refurbished 780's right now. They do have the 4778, which is the 700 cfm double pumper. I would think it would be plenty for even a hot 350 SBC.

Im going all 302 top end on my 327 in my 68, so I really want a 780 to be correct or I will run the edelbrock to I find one, hopefully ill find one this weekend at the Portland swap meet. we have a booth this year in hall e and a vehicle space. in hall A/B
Well I guess if you want it to be technically correct you'll want a 780, but since it's not a 302, I doubt anyone can look at the 700 and know it's not a 780; just like looking at the 327 and not knowing what it is.
Yeah, that's true. I guess since I'm getting the car ready for concourse I'm going a little overboard. I want it to look like it came from the factory that way. But I think i might be over thinking it. The 68 Z28 that was out there when we had the hot rods had a few obvious mistakes to a camaro person but to the average joe looked factory.
Yeah, I'm sure the concourse judges at Forest Grove will look at the engine numbers and know it's a 327. Those guys have all the tricks and notes.
Fired the engine today! Had to shut it off numerous times as the heat gun seems to not cure the paint. It began to smoke the headers and stink things up, so shut it off. Repeated that about 4 times, and the header paint finally stopped smoking. I started it again and got another 10-15 minutes when the temp had climbed up to about 200-210, so shut it down and will let it cool overnight. I'll finish up tomorrow on a cold engine.
It sounds really smooth, and great, but the cam doesn't sound as robust as the Isky did. I'm guessing it's the 112 LSA that smoothed it out so much. I ran it around 2500-3000, with a few throttle blips here and there to see how it responded. Seems to run up real well so far.

I don't know. the 68 Camaro Z/28 that took second two years ago had a freaking cowl hood on it.
