What's special about the lug nuts? Maybe the local wrecking yard will have them laying around? I've gone out with a lug wrench and snatched them off, or picked them up and they usually only charge me a couple bucks for 10 of them.

Don't. The old cragars also take the special washer for the dual bolt pattern or are yours single?

The washers used on unilug Cragars are just thick 1.25" washers. Didn't know any Cragars used a shank that long though? Most use a .75"-1" shank length. Hope those don't bottom out!

Lug nuts came in yesterday but I think I'm going to wait before I put it on the ground. I think I'm going to rig up some kinda temporary exhaust out of the old one. That way when I drive it to the shop to get the new exhaust it's not so loud. I have to drive thru the city to get to the shop and I don't think ppl would Appreciate it being so loud. Last thing I want is a Noisy exhaust ticket the first time I drive it lol.

Police in NJ must be pretty picky. Around here they wont bother you if you're taking it easy, and headed to the muffler shop to get exhaust system built.

thats what I was thinking. I put a new 460 in a Ford truck I had and drove it across town to the exhaust shop with open headers. all I got were thumbs up.

Yeah it really all depends on the cop. I'm not real woried about it but why take the chance. Shouldn't be hard to rig somthing anyway.
