Good job! I'd get exhaust set up on it before tuning it too much. Back pressure will change the tune slightly, and then you can get a better idea of how it runs once it's got tailpipes and mufflers.

Yeah that was my plan. I'm going to go thru the brakes and get it drive able first. that way I can get it to my dads shop and get it on a lift for the exhaust. Luckily the shop is not far.

Finally got some work done today. I went and picked up some gently used tires at the local junk yard for $125. I went home to grab the wheels so I could mount them and when I pulled the front wheels off (this is the first time ive had them off since i bought it)I was pleasantly suprised. It has factory disc brakes up front which is great cause I was thinking I was going to have to convert them from drums. So when I got back from mounting the tires I decided to check the back drums out see what's going on back there. The front brakes were in great shape so I figured the backs would be the same. Man was I wrong. It was a real fight getting the drums off but when i finally did They looked like they haven't been changed in forever. The drums were destroyed and there was nothing left of the shoes. Broken springs and such. So I ordered all the parts and tore them apart. Was hoping by the time I had them torn apart the parts would be there but alas the guy at the auto parts store lied and they didn't come today. So hopfully they will be here tomorrow so I can finish that up. I also manged to get the trans crossmember insulators installed as well. Hope to get more done tomorrow or during the rest of the week sometime.

Glad you're still plugging away on it! It's going to be a great car when it's all done!

Finished the breaks up today. Know I just need to find some lug nuts so I can put the wheels on but no one seems to sell the ones I need. Prob have to order them online.
