Ahhhh, now I see why the fragile aluminum bezel isn't broken. That's NOT a 69 gauge cluster you have there, that's the cheapo plastic cluster **** from a 1977-82.
The 69 bezel and gauges are different. What you got, ain't "right". Eh boy, "Ka-Ching" again!!!

yea, that happens. Id concentrate more of getting her going and you can always change things like that out over time when the funds are avail. if not.... you spend all your funds on things that you do not have to have and then when you run across a big ticket item that you have to have in order to proceed at all, youre not saying "dang, I wish I hadnt dropped all that cash of this or that". If not, Id be in that boat right now. I "almost" spent a boat load of money on Interior Items and thought better of it a while back. now that Im driving the Camaro without a Headliner, Sun Visors, Dash Pad, dash panel and grab bar ect. Im able to see that if I had spent that $1000 to $1250 I wouldnt be driving it. not to mention the $$$$ on A/C which can also wait.

Oh I agree. If it's not in the budget (if there's any left), don't sweat it yet, the car will run and drive with the wrong gauges. Obviously though, now would be the most convenient time to swap the gauges since it's already out. It's a real p.i.t.a. to get it out once the interior is together since you have to start removing everything starting at the back of the console, and working your way forward.

I'm not gonna worry about it just yet. I'm putting money into stuff like rebuilding the front suspension and what not, brakes, engine gaskets so I can go through it... my original plan was to paint the thing first and foremost but I changed my mind.

So, I need basically every fastener for this thing. Most of the screws are all missing for the interior panels.

I haven't. I have been going through places like Willcox, zip, and ecklers because they are Vette specific. Willcox seems to have most of all I need.
