guess its a good thing Im a Camaro person and not a Corvette person. and I already used my extra cash for nerve medication, but I havent needed it since I started driving it.

Check Zip-corvette next time for supplies. Eckler's is usually one of the most expensive in town, I use them only when necessary.
The harness at Zip is only $16 bucks cheaper, but you could use that to save up for your soon to be needed nerve medication.
And Scooch, what was that you were saying before about Vette stuff being cheaper? lol

I thought it was weird earlier that I didn't find a greater price swing from Ecklers. For future reference, do a feedback search on this dash harness ($402), it's made by Lectric Limited: Willcox Corvette, Inc. - Parts, Restoration, Help - "When you're not the biggest, You try harder"

Eeeeeeeezy does it when cramming the gauge assembly back into place. Make sure it's in all the way at the top when pushing it in at the bottom. Trying to draw the top part in with the screws is what can make the skinny middle section go snap-a-roo.
