this is how the car has been shown for the past 20 years.

 

well there is the complete history of Miss Taboo. its currently onto its next chapter of life that will hopefully get her back on the map. our main goals with this car is to get it back into rod and custom, get inducted into the portland roadster show hall of fame, and have fun with it.

 

project is on the hold again to work on some of the other cars. finnaly found another rear armrest for the tbird seat. had to drive down to roseburg to get it. now makeing the tabs to mount the armrests.

also we have decided to pull the body off the frame on this car. since it is way easier to detail the frame plus we can have the compelte chassis painted and pinstriped. plus be able to paint the underside.

 

That's a major step forward! Sounds like you guys are really getting serious now!

well most of the inside is buttoned up and fitted. made our appointment for the paintshop today! we set up to take it in april 9! now time to get what little rust is in it and finnaly make up our mind if we are going to keep the side pipes or roof scoops.

 

Roof scoops? I didn't see any scoops in the roof in your pics?

 

you can see them in this pic there are two small scoops on the roof.

 

I'll be darned, they sure are there! Never noticed them!

 

yep we might keep them and put some kind of chrome mesh in there. we would lover to have a 58 impala roof scoop in the top instead.
