update! for the past two weeks the side pipes have coming off and stock rockers have been going back on. going to run lake plugs instead of the full pipes also picked up a 1959 impala roof piece today off ebay to replace the two rood scoops. we could not find a 58 impala roof insert and metal we went with the 59 because it just bolts down and its different. the bottom pic is one just like it

 

I see you use the same type of door keep-open devices that I sometimes use.

 

yeah they work good when you dont want the door to latch because you then cant get to the release inside the car.

well we changed the color again but this time it is certain since we are going to get the paint in the next few weeks so we can start on painting the block and suspension parts. we are going with 2010 mazda speed celestial blue (below) it has a lot of metallic for a factory color and since we are trying to get it back in the magazines we decided it was best to go back blue like it was when it was in there.

 

another update! got the roof scoops off finaly! going to finish up next week. also a new shot of the filler panel now that the car is let down back on the ground.

 

Not sure what I'm looking at in the first pic? Is that under the hood?
