some big updates today on the 56. the interior has started to take shape. the headliner has been sewed up and we got the front seats back this week.

also finally got the motor dropped in today. it was a bear getting in the bay with the welded up nose but got in all in and ready to start hooking everything up. got to hit it hard now because we sent of the application for the roadster show this year.

thanks,

took the rear seats, package tray quaterpanels and rear arm rests to the upholstery shop. should be getting the front bumper and alternator bracket from chrome this weekend. going to attend the westside cruisers poker run on Saturday in the pickup.

well the front bumper got back from chrome after the first shop messed it up. also got the 4 speed back in

How did the first shop mess the bumper up?

the shop before polished the bumper the wrong way and went thru a lot of the copper filling because the bumpers are shortened 3 inches and the weld where it was shortened was exposed. you could see the weld seam under the chrome
