Yeah, I decided against putting any money into this RS, I'll wait until I find an SS, Z28 orWS6

the answer is yes, but you would need to proper turbo manifolds. you can put any turbo you want in there, the issue is the piping that connects it to the motor. the monte piping will only work if you two have the same engine

I was also thinking about turboing my 96 RS after some bolt-ons, i was thinking about saving for an LS1 or LT1 but i realized all of the money it would cost (the car+gas which is close to $4.00/g now+ insurance for a 16 year old kid) i could put into a turbo.. what are your opinions?

oh really so your saying he cant pick up 85 horse power and have more power than a LT1?

ill put this up aaaaagain...

the aproximate equation is 7% of you N/A horse power per pound of boost you are running ....

with the 3.8 were talking 200 n/a

so 7% of 200 is 14 thusly 14 horser per lb of boost thusly by running 7 lbs hell pick up 98 horse power... running a rather resonable amount of boost you a good chunk above a LT1 if you build it to run 15 lbs of boost

15x
14
=220

220+200= ofcorse 420 horse ..... thats a fair chunk more thank you gonna get out of LS1

please note by moding the V8 enginges you can catch up to these numbers very quickly the point is that building a V6 is not pointless it takes a little more on the front end somtimes but ultimately might save you a fair chunk of cash....
