I dont think its cheating, but at the same time i do... Heres my reasoning.. I wanna see what the engine can do N/A, heads up race motor to motor.. thats where it comes down to whos better than who. In a nitrous to nitrous race then its fine, but i think if one car doesnt have nitrous the other shouldnt be allowed to use it because thats like paying a major league baseball pitcher to play on your high school team.
With this philosophy then turbos and superchargers are cheating since that isn't NA. Do you think those are cheating?

I just think that people see it as cheating just because it adds so much power for a little amount of money.

And for people who say that "the power is not always there"... that makes no sense. I actually PREFER it that way, especially if it is a daily driver like mine. That way when you drive it normally on the streets you have your stock power and no extra stress on the motor when it is not needed, like a turbo or SC would. Then when you actually NEED to USE it, on the strip for ex, you can. Then you can go back to having a 350hp DD with no issues on the drive home...

Not cheating.

you have to fill you bottle, you also have to fill your gas tank.

Also turbo's and s/cneed to built up boost so its temporary. running a car under the RPM where the turbo will spool will be the same as running N/A.

dont know how most people here wire up there spray but minewould bewired to spray under WOT, if the arming switch is on.

if your car aint good enough with out nitrous, its never gonna be good enough with nitrous, weathe its fast or not. You didn't see NOS when the classics first came out did ya? no but yet most of them are still faster then yours.(yours being all cars in general not directed at any one person)

you also didnt see EFI when the classics came out. the technology wasnt around. There are very few classics that can hang with sports cars today. most of them were gigantic motors that pushed them to an astounding high 13 . Even the HP ratings back then were inflated. not only was the standard of measuring different, but they would dyno the motor with dyno headers and no accessories which greatly inflated the numbers. the classics also didnt have to compete with emissions. and really, nitrous has been around for a long time. There really isnt anything youre saying that is accurate or relevant [&:]
