will a 50 hp dry nitrous system work on a 92 3.1 v6
will the ecu put the needed fuel for it to work or are there
something that needs to be done first

it will "work". The stock ecu isn't going to add any more fuel in there without it be told to. Depending on the motor it should handle a 50 shot no problem, but it never hurts to add a little more fuel before you spray. Turning up the fuel pressure was always a way we put a bandaid on teh problem, although I wouldn't do it often.

Your set up will not add fuel with out being told to do so and thats kind of hard on a 3.1 ecu. However there is luck for your. For some reason the old iron 2.8 and 3.1 motors do like nitrous. You should be fine with a 50 dry shoot (should be) but why not play it safe and add a wet nozzle. You would also have the option to steep up to a bigger shoot in the future.
