I'm thinking about supercharging my 1990 camaro 5.0 V8, can someone tell me how much this would run me? and how i might go about doing it?

 

for that motor its not as simple as slapping on a blower and going.

if you do that you will spend about 3-4k, and only be pushing 5 or so psi. i dont know if they make 305 sc kits, so some of it will have to be custom

 

305 is not really a performance engine. You are better off with adding some bolt ons

 

you can get a vortech or a paxton kit for the 305.. $2800-$3200 or so is what your lookin at.
