Default 1990 Camaro RS

I've got an 82' el camino that now has the motor and transmission from a 1990 camaro rs that I wrecked. I know the motor is a 305...what model would the transmission be...it's automatic. The car is sitting at my dads place about three hours from here so I haven't seen it in about a year, but I'm trying to find out what it would cost me to fix it. What automatic transmission fits the Chevrolet 305?

Did it have overdrive? If so its most likely a 700r4.

Look at the shape of the pan on the transmission, is it a rectangle? or is it oblongish?

Thanks a lot guys, yes, it has overdrive...as to the shape of the pan...I'm not positive I haven't seen it in a year, but I'm getting ready to fix it up. I really appreciate the link to the guide. I definitely didn't see that anywhere on the net.
