Default 1990 Camaro RS

I've got an 82' el camino that now has the motor and transmission from a 1990 camaro rs that I wrecked. I know the motor is a 305...what model would the transmission be...it's automatic. The car is sitting at my dads place about three hours from here so I haven't seen it in about a year, but I'm trying to find out what it would cost me to fix it. What automatic transmission fits the Chevrolet 305?

Thank you in advance to anyone who knows.

Did it have overdrive? If so its most likely a 700r4.

Look at the shape of the pan on the transmission, is it a rectangle? or is it oblongish?

Thanks a lot guys, yes, it has overdrive...as to the shape of the pan...I'm not positive I haven't seen it in a year, but I'm getting ready to fix it up. I really appreciate the link to the guide. I definitely didn't see that anywhere on the net.

Thanks again
