Basic concept is a low compression of around 8-8 1/2,good forged crank and pistons..A turbo can be about anything you want depending on how much you want to spend and what style you want but I just have a set of 63s on mine from a grand national..car makes crazy power with no lag..have a good converter built for it and put in a turbo cam with a good blow threw carb or run big money fuel injection and your good..

Cheap way to go here would be a roots type blower. Its going to be way cheaper and a lot less of a pain in the #$%. Depending on what kind of Compression you are running on the 355 you may be ready for boost.
