very very new to chevy

Default very very new to chevy

im not sure if i did the right thing but i came over to you guys. i just traded my 87 gt for a 96 z28, its an auto with od, and shift kit, well it seems it anyway, 410s full exhaust head work, chip, pretty nice car i guess, it used to be a texas hwy patrol car, i joined the forum today, im looking for a dash if anyone can help me, this one is pretty screwed up. let me know and enjoy your day,.and if anyone can please give me some info on how to make these things run a little better, there pretty heavy i guess. thanks again. JR

Welcome to the forum.Sounds like a nice car.Try ebay for a dash. Post up some pics.

Glad you saw the light. Cars like that are always interseting, is there any history behind it?

i did the same thing too, sold my 67 fastback mustang , and a 93 cobra and bought a 69 camaro. welcome

thanks everyone for the nice welcome. i will get some pics up here today. took it out last night and thrashed on it a little bit, couldnt even get it too smoke the tires, didnt know about that thing called traction control. lol. figured it out though. these cars seem to run very very good, should run in the low 13s high 12s i guess. i will let you all know next week, taken it to the strip.

Welcome to the forums. You will find the chevy is easier to work on and you will spend les time fixing and more time driving.
