Newbie here, needing some info hopefully
Hi everyone, newbie here. I don't have a Camaro, but I may have a car with a Camaro subframe
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can identify ( Camaro parts?) by sight.
I have a 41 Chrysler Street rod with a GM front clip.
The original builder doesn't remember what he used 30 yrs ago to build the car.
I have taken part numbers off stuff and cross referenced them. Maybe some of you have enough GM knowledge to ID some stuff by sight. ( I am a mopar guy)
Below are some pics of the front end. I have been told it looks like mid 70s Camaro/Nova
It has really curved upper control arms, no part numbers visible.
it has a Saginaw 605 steering box, about 31/4 turns lock to lock. The calipers and rotors had a part number that decoded to a mid 70s Camaro/Nova.
The pitman arm has a number on it that decode to late 60s Chevelle. It is straight.
The idler arm is straight also. it is a front steer car, any help is appreciated,
I am rebuilding the front end, I already got the wrong steering box. I bought a front end kit for a 76 GM, hoping the ball joints and other items are mostly the same on all the cars.
