Picked up a 94 Z28 LT1 A4 with 128K on the odo last July for $500. Been fixing it. Initial fixes only took a few days, minor ignition issues, and a lot of TLC and changing all fluids.

First time out it ran 14.6-14.8.

Bought Tunercat LT1 pro, a used K&N CAI, got it down to a best of 14.22. I am still searching for the sweet spot of consistency.

I just swapped out the 2.73's for 3.42's, bought Mt DR's, and the new best is 14.07. Consistency is getting better, right now it is between 14.11-14.07. Much better than before.

Still have a pretty good list of to-dos:
Install Trans cooler
Fix minor oil leak
Replace Heater core
Replace AC Comp and Dryer
Replace O2's
Tune up, plugs, wire, cap, rotor
Cat Back

It will probably get the chassis fab work this winter, just depends on my schedule. I like to do all my own fab work, and have the tools and skills.

Thanks, it's a fun car for sure. My Brother and Nephew have F-bodys as well. The kid has a nice 91 L98 Z28 Hardtop, and my Bro just picked up a 2002 LS1 Formula.

We battle it out at the drags. The kid is good, he beats us most of the time !!!!!! I'll get him one of these days!!
