New member from Ontarion, Canada with 68 convertible
Hi Folks. Thought I'd finally join the site after years of reading threads. I have a 1968 Camaro convertible with 49,000 original miles. I've had it 12 years this month. Bought it with 41,000 miles. It still has the original shocks. Very solid car. Pulled the original 327 at 44,000 miles, and put in a 1968 350 done +.060, and had the original powerglide rebuilt with shift kit. Now having a 700R4 built to install. I purchased the stage 4 kit from CPP and will be installing it in the next 4-6 weeks. Will be trying to figure out the largest tire combination I can run without tubbing rear. Would consider rolling fenders. I would like to go 18" staggered. Have 13" rotors going front, 12" rear. Just a cruiser that goes to the beach and odd car show. Weekend fun that the wife and I can enjoy and kick back.
Looking forward to touching base with some of the knowledgeable cars folks on this site.
Cheers, Lance
