Hey guys and gals, Im 69Camarosrus, Im from Dryden On Canada. A small city in north western On. I had a 72 Camaro RS, but sadly, just before it was ready for paint, the garage it was in, burnt to the ground. Shortly after, I drove down to Colorado springs Colorado, 9000 feet in the mountains, and pick up a almost rust free, unrestored 6 cyl 69, that had been in dry storage since 1983.
Since then, it has be a 2 year project so far, with the body put on a rotisorrie, sand blasted, and built with the following..
Dart block big m 572, with 640hp, and 684tq.
TCI th400 drag race tranny with full manual vb
Still has the 8.5 10 bolt out back, that I will stick with till it blows
285/x18 rear, and 245/x18 front MT tires, with Detroit wheel 18 5 spoke rims
The interior was replaced with as close to oem as I could from headliner to carpets with the exception of a set of black leather seats from an 04 GTO
Paint and body done by the best guy in town...chris Campbell.....a master for sure!!
As of today the car has to sit for a month or so, before the paint can be cut and buffed. ....Mono-chromatic...high gloss black....my favorite color...lol

Well thats me and my car, hope this forum helps me out, as I hope to be help to others....
Peace...

Welcome to Camaro Forums. Your car sounds like a real nice one, but then, it is a 69 after all!
